Boom appoints Moshe Tamir to Advisory Board

Generali’s former Global Head of Digital Transformation will advise on AI

AI platform for the short-term rental sector Boom has named Generali’s former head of innovation, Moshe Tamir, as its new appointment to its advisory board.

Moshe, who brings with him over 20 years of experience in fintech and insurtech, is the founder and managing director of global innovation advisory Axell, which helps corporate financial services accelerate their digital transformations.

Prior to launching Axell in 2018, Moshe spent five years at insurance and asset management provider Generali as the firm’s Global Head of Digital Transformation and Innovation.

He is credited with designing and launching innovative global digital solutions and business models, leveraging strategic partnerships and achieving global recognition for innovation in the insurance sector.

At Boom, Tamir will advise on the development and deployment of advanced AI technologies, providing strategic guidance to further enhance property management operations for Boom’s growing client base.

He joins Boom at a pivotal moment in the company’s continued growth as demand for AI-driven property management solutions among short-term rental property managers continues to intensify.

Moshe Tamir, Boom Advisory Board member for AI and Advanced Technologies, said: "Boom is on the brink of changing everything in the short-term rental space. The potential for AI to revolutionize property management is immense.

"I look forward to working with the team to drive innovation with a human touch and get more property managers streamlining their operations with this next-level tech."

Shahar Goldboim, founder & CEO of Boom, commented: "Moshe’s expertise in fintech and insurtech is unparalleled and his vision aligns perfectly with our goals at Boom.

"With Moshe's guidance joining our Chair, Ian Carter, and others on our advisory board, we are confident that Boom is ready to change the game in property management."

This latest strategic hire comes after Boom last month announced Ian Carter, Hilton’s former president of global operations, as chairman of its Advisory Board.
