Ireckonu appoints Jamie Cole as Chief Commercial Officer to accelerate growth

Cole named CCO to drive global growth

Ireckonu, a provider of middleware and customer data platforms for the hospitality sector, has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Jamie Cole as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). The move marks a new phase of the company’s international growth. Cole, who has held senior roles at InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), Hilton and Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, brings a deep understanding of how major hotel groups operate and what they require from data and integration technology. Based in Amsterdam, the company aims to accelerate its rollout across more complex networks.

“I’m very excited to join Ireckonu at such an important stage of its growth, driven by the growing influence of AI, which requires clean, reliable data to enable informed decision-making. The company has already built a strong foundation, working with some of the world’s leading hospitality groups to address the industry’s ongoing challenge of fragmented guest data. There is a clear opportunity to build on that momentum by expanding these capabilities to more complex organizations, accelerating global growth, and helping hotel groups deliver more connected experiences at every stage of the guest journey,” said Jamie Cole, Chief Commercial Officer at Ireckonu.

In a sector increasingly driven by AI and data, Ireckonu emphasises the quality and unification of guest information. The company argues that data cleanliness underpins the relevance of decisions, recommendations and automations. Its approach targets the chronic fragmentation of guest data across hotel groups, improving operational efficiency and supporting personalisation at scale. It also seeks to reduce reliance on third‑party distribution channels by strengthening direct relationships with travellers and boosting the performance of loyalty programmes.

Founded in Amsterdam, Ireckonu says it supports both boutique hotels and global chains. The company employs more than 75 people across Europe, North America and Asia.
