Cabfind.com credits profit and turnover boost to new clients

Taxi and coach on demand specialists, Cabfind.com, has reported a 13.2% increase in turnover, rising from £15.1m to £17.1m.

Taxi and coach on demand specialists, Cabfind.com, has reported a 13.2% increase in turnover, rising from £15.1m to £17.1m.

The £2 million increase is the result of Cabfind.com securing 28 new clients, including Northern Rail, Co-operative Travel Management and Typhoo Tea.

Chris Jordan, managing director of Cabfind.com, said: “In terms of growth, 2014 was a very good year for Cabfind.com the business has increased turnover year-on-year since launching in 2005.

“The success will allow Cabfind.com to maintain the excellent standard of service offered to clients and suppliers, along with allowing the business to explore new and exciting opportunities and potential new markets in 2015.”

The North West based firm has also created 35 new jobs, meaning that 100 people now work at its Wirral headquarters.

A partner network of 2,300 logistic suppliers, enables Cabfind.com to form a virtual taxi-on-demand fleet of 140,000 cars and coaches. Customers can book a cab or a coach via the company’s website or smartphone app.
