iProspect’s chief client and marketing officer, Nishma Robb, is to join the search giant.

The former Travelzest and Teletext director, who starts her new role at the end of May, will be responsible for marketing to Google’s largest advertisers and agencies.

“Through a variety of initiatives I will look at how can marketers can be inspired by the possibilities of digital,” she said. “I will demonstrate how Google’s products can play a role in helping businesses achieve performance and brand goals.”

As a member of the Google UK leadership team she will work closely with the sales leaders to make sure the digital marketing community is aware of and use Google’s products for performance or brand marketing.

Robb will work across all Google’s client industries, including travel, finance, retail and technology, and across all of its products, such as search, YouTube, mobile, ad technology and Google Plus.
