UK travel start-up Love Home Swap has released “the world’s first home-swapping app”.
The home swapping group claims its iOS app is the first of its kind to be released.
The company has almost 100,000 homes available in 190 countries.
Users can list their home straight from their phone, chat to other members, agree swap details and have their trip information stored offline.
Love Home Swap’s app offers a free two-week service trial and a range of membership packages.
Debbie Wosskow, OBE, chief executive of Love Home Swap, said: “We have created the world’s first home swapping app to bring the sector into the 21st century.
“Mobile makes up more than 50% of our traffic, so this is a major move to give our members what they want from us.
“Having an app makes it easy for people to find their way to a swap while on the move, giving instant access to the thousands of beautiful properties we have listed around the world.”
In December 2015 Love Home Swap acquired Dutch competitor, Home For Exchange.
Further acquisitions are in the pipeline along with a new Spanish language version and further developments to its Swap Points system.
