Ski holiday provider Ski.com has teamed up with itinerary solution Umapped to offer travellers real-time information that extends to their personal and social networks.
The new alliance means that Ski.com will deliver live, interactive itineraries “across all major platforms”.
The tool provides travellers with consolidated trip details and curated recommendations for various resorts.
A multi-channel group chat feature will offer seamless, real-time communication between Ski.com, travel professionals and travellers, “opening up the opportunity to generate incremental revenue and engage with customers”.
Ski.com’s president and chief executive, Harry Peisach, said: “We are excited to be working with Umapped to collaborate with our consortia and agency partners and to deliver a leading-edge social and mobile experience to our travelling clients.
“Beyond the bookings, our travellers will now be able to easily find and view our curated resort recommendations as well as continue to add to their trip plans as a group.”
