Sojern appoints former Yahoo! accounting chief as new finance boss

Aman Kothari joins the global travel marketing tech specialist from Auction.com

Travel marketing technology specialist Sojern has appointed a former senior accounting officer of Yahoo! as its new chief financial officer.

With three decades’ experience, Aman Kothari joins the form from Auction.com for which he was CFO and co-lead the successful sale of the company.

Prior to that he was global controller and chief accounting officer at Yahoo!, where he played an integral role in many of the company’s significant transactions.

Sojern said in his new role Kothari will oversee all aspects of finance, including financial planning and analysis, accounting, tax, and treasury.

The firm added he will be “tasked with helping the company execute on its mission to become the number one direct demand generator for hotels, attractions and destinations worldwide”.
