Online transfers specialist Ski-Lifts launches biggest-ever social campaign

Online transfer-booking specialist Ski-Lifts has launched its largest ever digital marketing campaign that will run on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube until April.

The campaign was developed with Glorious Creative and the Media Agency Group targeting family skiers, repeat skiers and ‘wanderlust’ skiers.

Its illustrative style targets specific demographics with a mix of stills and short animated clips to communicate the breadth of choice, locations and transfer types available.

From a fleet of 25 vehicles and 40 drivers in 2009, Ski-Lifts now covers over 200 resorts around the world using over 100 suppliers.

The campaign, which kicked off on Facebook and Instagram on December 21 has already driven a 20% uplift in visits to the site to date and will launch on YouTube on January 13.

Manchester-based Ski-Lifts was founded in 2003 with just one minibus serving skiers from Geneva to Morzine, Avoriaz and Le Gets.

Today it carried over 100,000 passengers per season, offering transfers to thousands of resorts in 24 countries, from over 100 airports in destinations ranging from Europe and North Africa to North America.

Commercial director Simon Holmes said: “We’re excited to launch this new social campaign which is visually very different to anything we have done in the past, creating clear stand-out for us against traditional transfer campaigns, which tend to feature quite static images of transfer vehicles or library destination shots.

“With its unique illustrative style, we think it brings the offering to life and helps to communicate the benefits of using our service and are delighted with the early results.”
