Travel Forward 2019: Sports Events 365 to demo new supplier interface

Sports and events tickets supplier Sports Events 365 will be demonstrating a new supplier interface at next month’s World Travel Market.

The Israel-based distributor says the interface has seen its B2B partners receive instant confirmation for 80% of sporting tickets.

The firm said it saw a “sharp increase” in traffic and a doubling of immediate confirmation on orders following the introduction its new supplier interface.

Sports Events 365, which supplies tickets to travel agencies, tour operators and OTAs, has also increased its technology partnerships with two new software developers in the UK and Germany, GP Solutions and Vibe Systems. It currently operates sites in 22 languages.

Sefi Donner, founder and chief executive (pictured), said: “Immediate confirmations are critical for our customers and we expect the trend we have witnessed since introducing the new interface will continue to grow.”

Donner added the company will continue to focus its efforts on further improving the interface which was developed in-house.

The new tool allows suppliers to post prices and quantities of tickets for sporting events from a PC or a smartphone app. The user-friendly tool gives Sports Events 365 control over the entire process.

Sports Events 365 recently announced that over 60% of its revenues last year were derived from B2B ticket sales.

It said “the trend toward B2B sales has intensified in the past few years as an increasing number of travel industry providers have discovered how major sports events can contribute to their bottom line”.

Sports Events 365 will be exhibiting at WTM in London next month on stand TP 199.
