UK start-ups in the hotel technology space are being urged to pitch their ideas in front of Hilton at London’s Traveltech Lab.

Hilton has become the hotel partner for the lab, which is an incubator run by the mayor’s official promotional agency to help start-up companies in the travel technology space flourish.

The lab is seeking companies who think their technology can be a game changer in the hotel industry to apply to pitch their ideas to executives from the global hotel group with the winners set to win a £7,000 grant and the chance to work with mentors from Hilton to develop their product.

Hilton wants to hear from companies which have products that can inspire customers to book with the hotel giant, can be focussed on the booking journey and is grounded in customer needs.

The theme for pitch night – at the lab in London Bridge on December 12 – is “discover local, speak local, experience local – finding innovative solutions to enhance the guest experience with Hilton”.

Industry leaders will be on a panel alongside Hilton representatives to choose the winner.
