Automation upgrades will mean hoteliers can track payments in real-time

Booking platform Profitroom has launched an updated integration to its booking engine with established partners, Trust Payments, in a bid to transform the booking experience.

The improved payment gateway integration provides time-poor hoteliers with rich payment insights to make more informed decisions and better target their audiences.

The technology will also reduce potential barriers that could prompt cart abandonment.

This includes expansions in payment options for more than 100 currencies,  as well as mobile payments such as Apple Pay and Google Pay.

The upgrade also integrates all on-site transactions on the centralised reporting system with options for hoteliers to introduce branded point-of-sale systems onto android devices.

Patryk Luszcz, UK director of Profitroom, said: “As experts in hospitality, we know this upgraded payment gateway with Trust Payments will not only save our clients’ time, but also prioritise the safety and safeguarding of their businesses transitions as standard."

“We understand the time pressures that hoteliers are under and in a highly competitive market, it is essential we provide clear data to hoteliers so that they can continuously maximise profits and stay ahead of the competition with data-driven decisions.”

The upgraded Trust Payment integration with Profitroom is designed to provide hotels with improved data capture and payment security, while "enhancing the booking experience for guests".

Craig Brightly, global director of sales of Trust Payments, said: “As a leading payment provider we are always looking at how to enhance payments across all sectors.

"Our partnership with Profitroom enables us to stay ahead of the needs of hoteliers, and apply our Converged Commerce™ approach to create memorable payment experiences and enhance our services for their clients.”
