Monarch Airlines’ personal in-flight entertainment service, MPlayer, has reached a total of 10,000 downloads.
The MPlayer app also reached another milestone recently with over 1,000 uses across the Monarch fleet over the course of the day on Tuesday.
The top film download is Tower Heist and the most popular TV title according to download figures is Live at the Apollo.
The soundtrack for the summer according to downloads is Summer by Calvin Harris, followed closely by Do You Want to Build a Snowman from the Disney animated film Frozen.
Customer experience and marketing director Tim Williamson said: “We are delighted to reach the milestone of 10,000 downloads of MPlayer. Our customers’ in-flight experience is of the utmost importance to us, MPlayer is a great initiative for those that wish to create their own personal entertainment whilst on-board.”
