Paxport appoints sales director from Carlson Wagonlit

A new sales director from Carlson Wagonlit Travel has been named by Paxport, the Swedish owner of UK travel software firm Multicom.

A new sales director from Carlson Wagonlit Travel has been named by Paxport, the Swedish owner of UK travel software firm Multicom.

Mats Torebrandt has been appointed by the travel retail and passenger management specialists, having previously worked for Amadeus Scandinavia, Projectplace and American Express.

Torebrandt will oversee the company’s combined sales and account management operations in Sweden and the UK following Paxport’s acquisition of Multicom in January.

Paxport’s chief executive, Tony Barker, said: “We are delighted to have recruited someone of the quality and experience of Mats to this strategic sales role as we set out to achieve our vision of creating the world’s best travel retail experience.
