Air France tests VR headsets as in-flight entertainment
Air France has been testing the use of virtual reality headsets as in-flight entertainment.
Passengers can watch 3D and 2D films or TV shows on what the airline is calling “their own private movie theatre”.
It has rolled-out the immersive entertainment system in partnership with the startup SkyLights.
Tests began on August 1 in business class on board flights between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and St. Martin. Four headsets with a selection of forty films and series are offered on board.
