Former Amazon UK managing director Robin Terrell joins Jet2 parent Dart Group

Independent non-executive director appointment announced

A former Amazon, John Lewis and Tesco boss is joining the board of Jet2 and Jetholidays owner Dart Group.

Robin Terrell has been appointed as an independent non-executive director with immediate effect.

He was UK managing director of Amazon for four years until 2005, managing director of John Lewis Direct and most recently chief customer officer at Tesco.

The chartered accountant also worked at House of Fraser as executive director of multi-channel and international.

Terrell will become a member of Dart’s audit and remuneration committees.

Executive chairman Philip Meeson said: “I am delighted to welcome Robin Terrell to the board of directors.

“He has huge experience in leading online and retail businesses with a focus on providing a great customer experience, and also a strong track record as a non-executive director.

“I know that he will make a significant contribution to the ongoing success of our business.”
