Maiden Voyage appoints new head of client partnerships

Female travel network Maiden Voyage has appointed Lynn Bennett as head of client partnerships.

Former travel strategy and new business manager for Shell, Bennett will also provide specialist travel safety education to the industry.

Maiden Voyages is an all-female, free to join, network that aims to give travel safety information to female travellers across 100 countries.

Bennett explained that as more women travel, the threat of safety-related incident intensifies and Maiden Voyage’s understanding of this enables them to deliver innovative solutions.

Bennett will work under Carolyn Pearson, chief executive of Maiden Voyage.

Bennett said: “With 30 years of knowledge within the travel industry, I am excited to join Carolyn and the team who are passionate about enhancing the travel experience for the individual whilst supporting the organisation they work for the become uncompromising on safety and ethics.”

Pearson added: “Lynn is a well-respected industry heavy-weight and is somebody who has impressed me greatly with her depth of knowledge in the airline, travel management and corporate travel sectors.”
