Airport parking retailer ParkVia has been appointed the online parking provider for IAG, International Airlines Group.

In a phased roll-out plan, British Airways parent IAG’s primary project is to launch a micro website for the airline.

The parking platform, managed by ParkVia, will allow customers looking to pre-book airport parking, valet parking or airport hotels with parking, to book the space based on their travel requirements in 148 UK and global destinations.

The next phase of development includes ParkVia developing micro-sites for each of IAG’s airlines.

Mark Pegler, ParkVia managing director, said: “This is a red letter for ParkVia: to become a preferred supplier to a globally renowned airline group, which encompasses your own country’s flag-carrying airline, is quite an achievement.

“As an established and recognised supplier to the aviation industry, collaborating with in excess of 22 airlines, ParkVia is well positioned to deliver a seamless service that complements the travel experience customers already enjoy with IAG’s impressive portfolio of leading airlines.”

Founded in 2008, ParkVia’s global car park coverage now spans 43 countries and over 2,000 car parks. In April 2019, the company was awarded its second Queen’s Award for enterprise in the category of International Trade, under its former brand name, ParkCloud.
