An integrated travel reservation and fraud management solution is to be offered to airlines, travel agencies and other travel organisations.
The combined solution from Amadeus and Visa-owned e-commerce arm CyberSource is designed to help travel businesses maximize revenue, reduce costs and improve the customer payment experience across multiple channels, such as online, mobile, face to face and call centre.
A fraud management system called Decision Manager is integrated into the dedicated travel Amadeus Payment Platform to assist help travel firms accept more legitimate bookings, while identifying potential fraudulent transactions and lowering operational costs.
Amadeus head of travel payments Celia Pereiro said: “This will provide our customers with a customised and enriched travel-payment fraud solution, helping them to optimise business operations; increasing acceptance rates and facilitating a smooth consumer payment process.”
