Duetto has added 7,500 rooms from more than 40 hotels as it continues its growth in Europe.

The new additions, all of which in the last two months, means the hotel and casino profit optimisation firm now has more than 500 hotel partners on the continent.

The move has helped double the headcount of staff at its London headquarters in under a year, including the appointment of Justin Sadler-Smith as vice president of sales and Gary Torres director of deployment.

Among the new additions are London’s five-star M by Montcalm, Paris’ five-star Hotel Marignan, three Brochner Hotels in Copenhagen, eight Les Emeraudes hotels across France and five Palladium Hotels and Resorts in Spain.

Eight hotels across Germany and the Netherlands in the Europe Hotels Private Collection and thirteen Victor Residenz hotels in Germany are also added to Duetto’s portfolio.

Worldwide, more than 1,200 hotels and casinos in more than 50 countries use Duetto’s revenue strategy solutions, which includes personalised loyalty pricing.

Michael McCartan, Europe managing director for Duetto, said: “We are delighted to acknowledge our accelerated growth in Europe, thanks to an aggressive development effort and rapidly increasing demand for Duetto’s products across the continent.

“The rapid and unpredictable rate of change in today’s marketplace makes it critical for hotels to be able to fully optimize revenue and manage distribution complexity, and Duetto’s solutions bring insight and flexibility to get the job done. We are happy to welcome our new hotel partners and new senior managers as we continue to bring Duetto’s innovative Revenue Strategy Solutions to Europe’s leading hotels and resorts.”

Sadler-Smith joins Duetto from IBM, where he spent more than a decade in sales while Torres has more than fifteen years of senior managerial experience in travel technology at companies in Europe.
