Silicon Valley technology developer DerbySoft is poised to make its systems available to independent hotels for the first time as it sets out to conquer European markets.

The firm is giving hoteliers early access to its One system that combines a content management system, website builder, online booking engine, channel manager, and metasearch under a single platform.

After working with large global hotel brands such as Marriot and Hilton DerbySoft is now offering its services to small to medium sized independent hotel groups all over Europe.

The software will go on general release at the end of the year when a permanent European base is due to be established in Germany. DerbySoft said its software is designed to offer smaller businesses a “simple and affordable” solution to save time and money.

“Not only will One help to drive more bookings, thanks to the soon to be released meta search tool, but we will also give back time for the user to focus on their guests rather than sitting in front of a computer struggling to navigate the distribution world, said André Baljeu, vice president at DerbySoft.

“After all, the One user may only be a team of one and so this is a tool for them – easy-to-use, yet incredibly powerful.”

Hotel managers, online marketing managers and owners have been invited to the company’s Learning Launch to help them gain a better understanding of what One can do.

DerbySoft enables over five million room nights every month across 80,000 hotels worldwide. As part of its international expansion the firm will target markets such as Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, UK, and Spain. It has existing bases in Dallas in the US and Shanghai in China.

Baljeu added: “We have acquired a strong market position with large international hotel chains who are convinced of our solutions. Now we want to expand that position to important European locations, addressing independent hotels and small hotel groups in particular to support them with their online distribution demands”.
