Ticketmaster.com has launched the Bazaarvoice social commerce platform with Ratings and Reviews.
The new functionality allows customers who have purchased their event tickets from Ticketmaster to easily connect, rate, review and share their experiences on Ticketmaster.com.
As one of the largest e-commerce sites on the internet, Ticketmaster.com deploys Bazaarvoice to better engage customers on its eCommerce site and moderate the thousands of live event review submissions submitted by consumers globally in four languages including English, Spanish, German, and French.
In addition, reviews are optimized for search engine visibility, making it easier for fans to quickly find a great event through Google, Yahoo, or Bing.
“We know that our events attract a community of very passionate fans and through our partnership with Bazaarvoice we’ve been able to engage and connect their experiences on a global scale from Ticketmaster.com,” said Kip Levin, Ticketmaster’s Senior Vice President of Product & Digital.
“Ticketmaster is a huge global brand with passionate customers around the world,” said Brett Hurt, founder and CEO of Bazaarvoice. “We are very pleased to help them connect with these influencers in order to engage its community, provide decision support for other consumers, and improve search engine visibility.
“Through Bazaarvoice, Ticketmaster is able to get maximum value from a tremendous volume of digital word of mouth and by building community involvement and engagement in a structured and meaningful way.”
