The new navigation prioritises visual content, multichannel and customisation to each user’s needs.

Tomeu Bennasar, chief executive of Logitravel.co.uk, said: “We have invested heavily in including high quality images, destination information, complete hotel profiles and coming soon inspirational videos.

“It is essential that the client is able to find all the necessary information about their holiday to be able to make an informed decision and choose the option that best fits their needs.”

The new website works on any kind of device, there is also an Apple mobile app with the same content and options.

Regarding the big data technology claim, Bennasar said: “We still have a long way to go on this journey but certainly this is the future trend in online trading.

“The customer is increasingly more demanding and expects a more personalised service.

“We have incorporated elements based on the origin of the client and the navigational history of similar users that creates a showcase for a better user experience.”

The navigation emphasises the website’s new cruise section which has high visual content, descriptions of the ships’ facilities and information about cruise destinations.

Soon Logitravel.co.uk will add high definition cruise videos.
