Accommodation provided by Booking.com is being made available to book via the Germanwings website as part of a three-year partnership agreement.

Passengers using the Lufthansa low cost carrier’s site will be able to access Booking.com’s inventory of more than 540,000 hotels and other forms of accommodation ranging from apartments and guest houses to resorts and hostels.

Members of the airline’s Boomerang Club loyalty scheme will be able to collect miles on accommodation bookings.??

Germanwings’ ancillary product and revenue director  Katrin Floether said: “We are really pleased to have found an innovative partner in booking.com. With the help of Booking.com our guests will be able to find and book competitively priced accommodation all over the world.”

Booking.com global strategic partners director Mathis Boldt said: “Germanwings is a valuable sales channel that will help us to further expand our brand awareness in Germany and Europe.”
