Amadeus has signed a software licensing agreement with predictive analytics specialist Netuitive.

Amadeus has signed a software licensing agreement with predictive analytics specialist Netuitive.

The three-year deal will enable Amadeus’s airline IT business to better understand the performance of its Altea Departure Control (ADC) – Flight Departure (aircraft weight and balance) system.

The Altea suite, a passenger service system that comprises reservation, inventory and departure control, is used by more than 100 commercial airlines.

The departure control platform ensures flights leave on time and helps airlines increase efficiency, reduce costs and centralise load planning.

Netuitive will monitor approximately 2,000 servers in data centres in Brazil, Europe and the US and analyse the performance of Amadeus’s airline, hotel and car rental booking and reservation services.

Peter Raven, director of business development at Amadeus, said: “We will be using Netuitive’s IT analytics platform to further enhance performance of our services.

“This involves advanced analytic capabilities powered by unique algorithms for correlating multiple data types and business metrics.”
