Former OHG MD joins On The Beach as supply director

The former managing director of failed On Holiday Group (OHG), Bill Allen, has landed the role of supply director at On the Beach.

The former managing director of failed On Holiday Group (OHG), Bill Allen, has landed the role of supply director at On the Beach.

After a decade at the helm of one of the industry’s biggest travel companies, Allen will now be responsible for the OTA’s existing partner relationships and developing new strategic hotel partnerships.

Elsewhere, it was revealed yesterday that former Thomas Cook chief executive Manny Fontenla-Novoa had purchased the assets of OHG and is to launch a new bed bank for the travel trade.

The new company will be run by former OHG sales director Brian Young.
