Agents are being urged to use industry intelligence to refine their marketing activity.
The call comes from Vertical Systems which has started working with global research specialists GfK to provide an automated reporting tool for booking trends and movements.
The free tool is a “bolt-on” addition to the Tarsc system and provides weekly feedback to GfK on booking elements such as destinations, types of holiday booked, and numbers booked.
Client confidentiality is protected and agents do not need to enter into a binding contract.
Rob Barker, business and development director of Vertical Systems, claimed the tool would aid agents in their daily tasks without disrupting their route.
“Travel Agents today need all the help available to help them work smarter,” he said.
