Technology technology companies TravelgateX and Travel Compositor have partnered to increase global industry connections.

Travel Compositor is a travel sales platform that allows tourism companies to sell packages around their own product and API specialist TravelgateX offers a digital marketplace that connects tourism buyers and sellers worldwide.

Through the agreement, the companies aim to boost the growth of B2B travel with a global strategy where OTAS, travel agencies, channel managers, hotels, airlines and activity agencies can grow in transactions, products, and business.

Europe, the US and Latin America are expected to be the regions that will benefit the most as Travel Compositor operates in Latin American countries and TravelgateX is established in Europe. Their technology has already been implemented in the US.

They also work with companies including Smyrooms, Viajes El Corte Inglés, Hotelbeds, LoveHolidays, Welcomebeds, and more.

Technological languages used by both companies such as GraphQL, JavaScript, Python, GoRedis or agile systems could also benefit implementation, speed and optimization for new customers or partners wanting to sign new agreements.

Manual Aragonés, Travel Compositor chief executive officer, said: “This agreement is as if Movistar and Huawei teamed up to give the best technology in mobile phones and connections, although in this case, we are talking about connections and booking fronts.

“We got involved in this agreement to move, connect and generate sales among hundreds of suppliers and customers within a market that is in constant growth, hoping to be leaders of that momentum.”

José Díaz, TravelgateX chief commercial officer, added: “We think this is a perfect match, between functionality (the how) and connectivity (what). Both companies have worked together for a while now. We will team up to empower our mutual clients and this expected to move very interesting figures in the sector.”
