Inspiretec achieves international certification for its customer focus

Travel technology systems developer Inspiretec has been awarded an international recognised kitemark for the quality of its management and customer focus.

The ISO 9001:2015 certification is recognised worldwide as the international benchmark for quality within an organisation.

Inspiretec claims to be one of the few travel technology providers to receive the certification saying it underlines its dedication to continual improvement.

Richard Shearman, customer excellence director, said: “Being acknowledged for meeting these high standards is a testament to Inspiretec as a customer-first technology partner and reflects the take-up of our Quality Management System across the company.

“We recognise that quality and reliability of delivery is a key differentiator in the market. Customers deserve to experience consistent and reliable delivery and we’ve built in a robust quality system into the very core of our business to facilitate that”.

The Cardiff-based developer said the ISO9001 certification comes on the back of work to improve Inspiretec’s quality management system which has brought greater efficiency and productivity.

The firm said it can identify and resolve potential issues earlier on in the delivery process and it has a structured format for managing and mitigating risk.

Customer satisfaction is one of the eight principles of quality management that Inspiretec said it is audited on.

Matt Wakerley, the former chief financial officer who has recently been promoted to chief operating officer of the group, said:
