Booking.com to offer stays in first bookable cottage made of chocolate

Booking.com is to offer its customer the chance to stay in a cottage made entirely from chocolate.

The global travel giant has worked with renowned artisan chocolatier Jean-Luc Decluzeau on the design and manufacture of the 18 square metre building that will comprise of 1.5 tonnes of chocolate.

The cottage will be able to accommodate up to four guests who will be able to help themselves to chocolate treats during their stay.

The cottage will be located in the L’Orangerie Ephémère glass house in the gardens of the Cité de la Céramique in Sèvres, France.

Bookers will have to be on their toes with stays on just two nights – October 5 and 6 – cost €50 going on sale at 10am on September 19 and September 26.

In addition to The Chocolate Cottage, Booking.com will offer lucky guests a unique workshop dedicated to crafting personalized mini chocolate chalets.
