Criton appoints agency to raise profile of its hotel DIY app building tech

DIY app builder for the hospitality sector Criton has announced it will work with Finn Partners to build brand awareness in the sector.

The global marketing and communications firm will promote Criton’s platform which provides hotels and serviced apartments with the tools to create their own fully customisable app.

Julie Grieve, Founder and chief executive of Criton, said: “Hoteliers are increasingly looking for ways to enhance guest experiences through the use of apps – and Criton is at the forefront of providing those businesses with access to big brand technology.

“As a young company that is growing rapidly and significantly, we were looking for an agency that will help us to educate hoteliers that they don’t need to spend a fortune or hire a team of experts to build a sophisticated guest-facing app.

“With Finn’s talent and expertise in both the travel and technology sectors, as well as its international footprint that meets the needs of our future company growth plans, we knew the agency ticked all the boxes.”

Finn has more than 100 people in its global technology practice, and last year acquired The Brighter Group, a UK travel PR group.

Finn said it will raise the profile of Criton with a high-visibility communications programme.

Flora Haslam, managing partner, technology Europe, at Finn Partners, said: “Our expertise and investment in both our travel and technology practices puts us in an incredibly strong position to help Criton shout about its technology to hoteliers across the UK.

“The travel tech industry is noisy and competitive, but Criton has already established itself as a company that’s going places – with our knowledge, contacts and experience, we can help take Criton to the next level.”
