WebBeds names Paul Hewer as sales director for UK and Ireland

Paul Hewer has been named UK and Ireland regional sales director for B2B accommodation provider WebBeds.

He has almost 15 years’ commercial experience in the industry, having previously held senior roles at GTA, Sunhotels and Getabed.

WebBeds claims to be the world’s second largest B2B accommodation provider comprising the JacTravel, Sunhotels, Lots of Hotels, totalstay and FITRuums brands.

Hewer will be based at the company’s newly enlarged offices in London.

He said: “The business has grown significantly through the acquisition of the JacTravel and totalstay.com brands; we now have a considerably larger client base and a materially enhanced, directly contracted hotel portfolio.

“I’m delighted to be leading such an established and enthusiastic UK and Ireland sales team and am looking forward to building on the great work they have achieved to date.

“We have some very ambitious growth objectives for the coming year which we will only achieve by providing our clients with an unrivalled level of service and a comprehensive and competitive product offering – and I am looking forward to working with the team to ensure we do.”
