New agreements have been sealed with travel agencies in the UK, Middle East and Singapore to deploy Travelport’s Trip Assist mobile app.

Omega Travel in the UK, UAE-based Cozmo Travel and Pegasus Travel in Singapore have signed up for the app following its launch in February.

The app serves as personal digital travel concierge service for travellers that provides day of travel assistance, real-time trip alerts and click to call agent support.

Omega Travel chairman Mingliang Chen said: “We are delighted to pioneer this new mobile technology in Europe which will extend our engagement with today’s hyper-mobile travellers.
