Weather-based travel inspiration and deals site Weather2Travel.com has launched a new city break tool.

The service provides users with comprehensive weather averages to help them choose where to go to find their ideal climactic conditions.

Information offered includes average monthly figures for day and night-time temperatures, sunshine hours, number of rainy days, heat and humidity and UV levels.

It also provides the temperature of the sea and equips users with everything they need to know to choose when and where their next city break will be.

Weather2Travel.com says it hopes users will discover alternative destinations they would not otherwise have considered.

Jon Nigel, director and co-founder of Weather2Travel.com, said: “When it comes to planning for the weather, you need to examine more than just temperature and rainfall to understand what it will be like.

“Our city break tool takes these figures and more to collectively displays a meaningful result, and give the user a wider picture of what to expect in each destination to make an informed decision about where to go.”

Colin Carter, fellow director and co-founder of Weather2Travel.com, added: “We’ve designed a tool for people who want to be inspired and find new city break destinations they haven’t considered before.”

“If we can help people choose city destinations, inform them about the weather, and show them the best travel products, we have done our job.”
