Former Emirates Airlines head of business technology, Melanie Bryant, as joined Travelport in the newly-created role of EMEA client delivery executive.

She will be responsible for developing deeper technology partnerships with a selection of the company’s largest and most strategically significant customers and prospects.

Bryant previously spent 12 years with Qantas, where she held a variety of roles including manager of technology, commercial, international and domestic sales.

She reports to Travelport EMEA president and managing director Rabih Saab, who said: “The appointment of Melanie Bryant reflects our commitment to consistently deliver best-in-class consultancy and technology solutions to our customers in the region.

“Her track record of conceiving and delivering innovative and effective technology-enabled solutions in complex and critical environments is exceptional. I look forward to working with her to further enhance the value we provide our customers, while evolving and expanding our business.”
