Global hotel booking platform for business travel Roomex has reached 20th in the 2017 Deloitte Technology Fast 50 ranking of the fastest growing technology companies in Ireland.

The rankings are based on average percentage revenue growth over four years.

This is the third consecutive year that Roomex has been listed in the ‘Fast 50’, showing continuous and consistent growth.

Cumulatively, the Fast 50 winners generated approximately €858 million in total annual revenues in 2016.

The average revenue of companies featuring on the ranking was approximately €17 million, while the average growth rate of the companies over the last four years was 290%.

Roomex chief executive, Jack Donaghy, credits demand from corporate clients and administrative requirements such as reporting and billing with the company’s growth over the past four years.

He said: “Corporate travel booking can be a headache – we’ve found an area that we believe in and can really get behind and serve well.

“By using Roomex, our clients can save money, save time and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards, and empower the individual business traveller.”
