Amadeus unveils door-to-door transfer planning service

A range of ground transfer partners are offering their services via a new door-to-door travel planning service for travel agents.

The Amadeus Transfer Hub covers more than 1,000 destinations in 142 countries.

The solution is released today with Blacklane, MYCAB Travel, Talixo, TaxiTender, and World Airport Transfer, with additional content providers set to be added over the coming months.

The solution is available across desktop, mobile and web service applications.

Amadeus UK product and innovation director Clare de Bono said: “When you combine customer demand with the ease of using the Amadeus Transfer Hub it’s clear to see how all parties will benefit.

“The ability to quickly compare rates from multiple providers in a single display delivers the kind of choice that consumers are looking for, without sacrificing the efficiency of busy travel professionals.”

She added: “A key advantage of the Amadeus Transfer Hub is its automatic integration with the rest of the itinerary, meaning travel agents can deliver a superior service while earning commissions from providers who are eager to partner with them.
