Travix, parent company of BudgetAir, has announced two appointments to its senior team.

Salma de Graaff has been named Head of People for Product, Technology and Finance, and Rupert Stocker has been appointed Product Director.

De Graff, who has worked for Heineken International for the past decade, said: “I’m happy to be working for Travix and am eager to familiarise myself with the dynamic online tech market.

“It will be a fantastic challenge to support the company’s growth by helping our people and organisation develop rapidly, in line with the company’s business goals.”

Stocker has over ten years’ experience in software development for the travel and online retail industry leading successful technology teams in North America and Europe.

He has broad travel-industry experience in various commercial and product-related roles at Worldspan (GDS) and lastminute.com, and as director of software development for Travelocity.

Stocker said: “I’m excited about working in the travel industry once again. A great deal has changed since I left in 2008.

“That will present all kinds of new and exciting challenges. With a strong technological platform, a highly-talented and dedicated team and a strong position in the market, I’m really looking forward to meeting those challenges head-on.”
