Brazil-based metasearch site Mundi will be using Skyscanner technology to power its international flight search results, the firm has announced.

The new partnership means the global travel search engine will be used by browsers on Mundi’s site, giving them a wider ranger of comparable flights, adding Skyscanner’s 1,200 air ticket providers to its network.

Last year, Mundi announced that Skyscanner was powering its car rental results.

Paula Rebouças, Mundi´s chief operating officer, said: “We are always looking for different ways to improve the user experience. Offering more qualified options to users on our international front is part of our goal as a metasearch and is aligned with this year’s growth strategy.”

The tool allows Mundi to provide Skyscanner’s flight search data while combining it with its own branding.

Shane Corstorphine, Skyscanner’s general manager for the America, added: “Skyscanner’s flight results offer some of the most extensive coverage globally, and we’re happy to be able to offer this range of choice to Mundi’s users in Brazil.”
