New wearable technology for visitors to Universal Orlando’s new Volcano Bay water theme park has been unveiled.

The new TapuTapu wearable will be strapped to the wrists of guests and is used by tapping onto scanners.

It allows people to “virtually wait in line” for the dozens of attractions and discover play experiences throughout the 30-acre park.

Volcano Bay’s grand opening takes place on May 25 and will become Universal’s third Orlando park.

Attractions include a multi-directional wave pool with sandy beaches, a winding river, twisting multi-rider raft rides and body slides that drop from the top of the volcano into the waters below.
